Under the Corps' Regulatory Program, a public notice is the primary method for advising all interested parties of a proposed activity for which a permit is sought. Public notices are also published to inform the public about new or proposed regulations, policies, guidance or permit procedures.

We are requesting public comments on many Public Notices (PNs) concurrently; please pay careful attention to the file number and the comments Due Date.

Email comments are preferred.  To submit comments in writing, send them to the attention of the Project Manager listed in the Public Notice title block.  All comments should reference the PN file number and be submitted by the Response Required Date on the PN.

  • SPN-2018-00411 Blu Harbor Dredging

    Expiration date: 10/19/2018

    RWC Harbor Communities, LLC has applied to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (Corps), San Francisco District, for a 10-year Department of the Army Permit to conduct dredging of accumulated sediment within the Blu Harbor in Redwood City, San Mateo County, California. Disposal of the dredged sediment from the proposed project would involve placement of dredged material at the Alcatraz Island Dredged Material Disposal Site (SF-11), at the San Francisco Deep Ocean Disposal Site (SF-DODS), or at a beneficial reuse site. The purpose of the proposed dredging is to remove accumulated sediment to allow safe navigational depths for recreational boats.

  • SPN-2018-00204N Proposal to Accept Funds from the San Francisco Bay Restoration Authority

    This Public Notice announces the preliminary intent of the San Francisco District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to accept and expend funds contributed by the San Francisco Bay Restoration Authority (Restoration Authority). The San Francisco District, Regulatory Division would allocate funds internally in order to expedite processing of the Restoration Authority's Department of the Army pre-application project list and permit applications, subject to a series of limitations specified below in this Public Notice.

  • SPN-2006-29693 Belvedere Access Channel Maintenance Dredging

    Expiration date: 10/15/2018

    Marcel Houtzager has applied to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers San Francisco District, for a 10-year Department of the Army Permit to dredge the Belvedere Access Channel and dispose of the dredged material at the Alcatraz Disposal Site (SF-11). The purpose of the proposed dredging is to return the channel to its -6 feet mean lower low water (MLLW) to allow safe navigational depths for recreational boats. The Belvedere Access Channel is in Belvedere, Marin County, California.

  • SPN-2004-28452 Belvedere Land Company Maintenance Dredging

    Expiration date: 10/15/2018

    The Belvedere Land Company, 80 Beach Road, Belvedere, California through its agent Pacific EcoRisk has applied to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (Corps), San Francisco District, for a 10-year Department of the Army Permit to dredge approximately 25,000 cubic over ten years from the Belvedere Land Company’s facility. The facility is located in Belvedere, Marin County, California. The purpose of the proposed dredging is to return the facility to its originally permitted depth to allow safe navigational depths for recreational boats.

  • SPN-1996-22476 Field’s Landing Boat Yard Maintenance Dredging

    Expiration date: 9/28/2018

    The Humboldt Bay Harbor Recreation & Conservation District has applied to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, San Francisco District, for a 10-year Department of the Army Permit to dredge approximately 25,150 cubic yards of sediment from the Fields Landing Boat Yard over a ten-year period. The purpose of the proposed dredging is to regain and maintain use of the Boatyard Travel Lift.

  • SPN-2014-00310N Austin Creek Aggregate Harvest

    Expiration date: 10/1/2018

    Canyon Rock, Inc. has applied to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), San Francisco District, for a Department of the Army Permit to harvest in stream gravel using a method that will enhance fisheries habitat within the lower reach of Austin Creek, tributary to the Russian River in the Town of Cazadero, Sonoma County, California.
