The San Francisco Bay Area Water Emergency Transportation Authority (WETA) has applied to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, San Francisco District, for a Department of the Army Permit to expand the berthing capacity at the Downtown San Francisco Ferry Terminal to support existing and future planned water transit services operated by WETA and WETA’s emergency operations. The project site is located at the San Francisco Ferry Terminal situation at the foot of Market Street at the Embarcadero in the northeastern section of San Francisco, California.
