Captain Edward Payne has applied to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, San Francisco District, for a Department of the Army Permit to dredge a maximum of approximately 135 cubic yards of sediment from the Alameda Tidal Canal in Alameda County, California; the sediment woud be disposed of at the Alcatraz Island Disposal Site (SF-11).
