Marina Village Associates, LLC has applied to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, San Francisco District, for a Department of the Army Permit to dredge approximately 490,000 cubic yards of sediment over 10 years from the Loch Lomond Marina, in San Rafael, Marin County, California. The purpose of the proposed dredging is to return the Marina to its originally permitted depth to allow safe navigational depths for recreational boats.
