Wildlands Newark Slough has applied to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, San Francisco District, for a Department of the Army Permit to establish a wetland mitigation bank and species conservation bank in a former salt pond adjacent to Newark Slough in the City of Newark, Alameda County, California.
