ISSUES AND OTHER INFORMATION

  • The Marin County Flood Control and Water Conservation District is the NFS.

  • Phase I Preliminary Assessment completed in Jan 2014.

  • The USACE San Francisco District estimates that there would not be a federal interest in constructing a project for 25 years or more based on sea level rise analyses. Furthermore, there is uncertainty as to whether any alternatives identified as part of the Phase I Preliminary Assessment would comply with the maximum total allowable cost under CAP Section 205. Therefore, USACE San Francisco District recommends terminated this CAP study.
