Julian Navarro drives the "Bobcat" front-end loader filled with dead carp to a disposal bin near Saturday near Lake Mendocino. While there are currently no human health issues, lake-goers and their pets should not eat or handle sick-looking, dead or dying fish and should not swim, fish or recreate near sick-looking, dead or dying fish. The Corps is also coordinating with the Mendocino County Health Department. Cold Creek Compost took the fish carcasses to its compost facilities.
