On Nov. 21, 2023, San Francisco District Deputy Commander Maj. Shantel Glass ceremonially signed a Project Partnership Agreement with the Pajaro Regional Flood Management Agency for the construction of the Pajaro River at Watsonville, California Project. The term "Project" means the construction of levee improvement measures on the Pajaro River and Corralitos/Salsipuedes Creeks in Monterey and Santa Cruz Counties. The actual agreement was signed Nov. 2, 2023.
