The Pillar Point Harbor is located approximately 25 miles south of San Francisco at the northern end of Half Moon Bay, San Mateo County, California. This project consists of two outer breakwaters with no navigation channels.

- Perform periodic inspections to monitor structural conditions.
ISSUES AND OTHER INFORMATION
- The San Mateo County Harbor District is the Non-Federal Sponsor (NFS).
- A project name change, formerly Half Moon Bay, was authorized by the Water Resources Development Act 1990.
- The west end of the west breakwater was repaired in FY 96.
- A Section 216 Initial Appraisal of possible Corps responsibility for extensive erosion of the coast immediately south of the east breakwater was completed in FY 09.
