Lake Mendocino's Underage Camping Policy

This policy applies to all visitors 17 years and younger:

In order for your child to camp at Lake Mendocino without your physical presence througout the night, you must provide written permission that includes your name, your child's name, and contact information when checking into the site.

Written permission must be on file with the camphost at the specific campground for each child who will be staying in the site registered to you. As the registered site holder, you are responsible for any damage or illegal activity that occurs at that site or by any children registered by you in that site.

Finding the Perfect Spot

With more than 300 campsites located in four campgrounds, you’re sure to find a favorite place to camp. Each campsite has a fire ring, picnic table and lantern hook. All four campgrounds have restroom facilities and three have useable running water. Prices range from $8 to $200 per night. 

 

Camping is available April - September including holidays. Keep reading for information on winter camping information.
