Directions

To the Park Office, South Boat Ramp, Che-Ka-Ka Campground, Kaweyo Staging Area:

From Ukiah, San Rosa, and Points South.

  1. Follow Highway 101 North. Take the Lake Mendocino exit just North of Ukiah.
  2. Turn right onto Lake Mendocino Drive.
  3. At the stoplight, turn left onto State Street.
  4. At the next stoplight, turn right onto Lake Mendocino Drive.
  5. Follow Lake Mendocino Drive to the end.

From Willits, Eureka and Points North

  1. Follow Highway 101 South.
  2. Take the Lake Mendocino exit about 3 miles South of the Highway 20 East interchange.
  3. Turn left onto Lake Mendocino Drive.
  4. At the stoplight, turn left onto State Street.
  5. At the next stoplight, turn right onto Lake Mendocino Drive.
  6. Follow Lake Mendocino Drive to the end.

From Sacramento and Points East

  1. Take Highway 20 West from Williams.
  2. Follow Highway 20 past Clearlake and Blue Lakes to Highway 101.
  3. Take Highway 101 South to the Lake Mendocino Drive exit, approximately 3 miles South the Highway 20 East interchange.
  4. Turn left onto Lake Mendocino Drive.
  5. At the stoplight, turn left onto State Street.
  6. At the next stoplight, turn right onto Lake Mendocino Drive.
  7. Follow Lake Mendocino Drive to the end.

To the North Boat Ramp, Ky-en Campground, Pomo Cultural Center, Pomo A-B-C and Oak-Grove Day-Use Areas

From Ukiah, Santa Rosa, and Points South

  1. Follow Highway 101 North.
  2. Take Highway 20 East approximately 5 miles North of Ukiah.
  3. Follow Highway 20 East for approximately 3 miles.
  4. Take the first right on to Marina Drive after you see Lake Mendocino on your right.
  5. Follow Marina Drive past the North Boat Ramp and Oak Grove Day-Use Area.

From Willits, Eureka and Points North

  1. Follow Highway 101 South.
  2. Take Highway 20 east approximately 15 miles South of Willits.
  3. Follow Highway 20 East for approximately 3 miles.
  4. Take the first right on to Marina Drive after you see Lake Mendocino on your right.
  5. Follow Marina Drive past the North Boat Ramp and Oak Grove Day-Use Area.

From Sacramento and Points East

  1. Take Highway 20 West from Williams.
  2. Follow for approximately 2 hours or 80 miles past Clearlake and Blue Lakes.
  3. Approximately 2 miles after the Potter Valley turn off you will cross a tall bridge.
  4. Turn left onto Marina Drive.
  5. Follow Marina Drive past the North Boat Ramp and Oak Grove Day-Use Area.

To Bu-shay Campground:

From Ukiah, Santa Rosa, and Points South

  1. Follow Highway 101 North.
  2. Take Highway 20 East approximately 5 miles North of Ukiah.
  3. Follow Highway 20 East for approximately 4 miles past Marina Drive and turn left after the bridge.
  4. Continue along the inlet river for 1 mile, the campground is located at the top of the hill.

From Willits, Eureka and Points North

  1. Follow Highway 101 South.
  2. Take Highway 20 east approximately 15 miles South of Willits.
  3. Follow Highway 20 East for approximately 4 miles past Marina Drive and turn left after the bridge.
  4. Continue along the inlet river for 1 mile, the campground is located at the top of the hill.

From Sacramento and Points East

  1. Take Highway 20 West from Williams.
  2. Follow for approximately 2 hours or 80 miles past Clearlake and Blue Lakes.
  3. Approximately 2 miles after the Potter Valley turn- off you will see a sign for Lake Mendocino Recreation Area.
  4. Take the first right after the sign.
  5. Follow the road under the bridge and along the river until you reach the Host Booth at the top of the hill.
