Published Jan. 14, 2019

SAN FRANCISCO – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers San Francisco District will host two public meetings to receive input intended to help shape development of the Master Plan for the Bay Model Visitor Center in Sausalito, California.

The public meetings will take place Saturday, Feb. 23 at 9 a.m. and Wednesday, Feb. 27 at 6 p.m. at the Bay Model Visitor Center located at 2100 Bridgeway.

Master Plans are developed with every Corps project, and they guide the use of resources for recreation and other purposes.

The Bay Model Visitor Center is home to a working hydraulic model of the San Francisco Bay and Sacramento-San Joaquin River Delta system and is a fully accessible education center owned and operated by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.  It provides a unique opportunity to view the complete bay-delta system at a glance.
