SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – In accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969 (42 U.S.C. § 4321 et seq.), as amended, the United States Army Corps of Engineers, San Francisco District has prepared a second draft integrated Feasibility Report/Environmental Assessment and draft Finding of No Significant Impact for the proposed Oakland Harbor Turning Basins Widening Navigation Study, California. This IFR/EA was prepared in collaboration with the Port of Oakland as the non-federal sponsor for the study. The second draft IFR/EA is a re-release of the original draft report issued for public review on Dec. 17, 2021.
The USACE is providing notice of the availability of this draft IFR/EA and draft FONSI for public review and comment pursuant to 33 C.F.R. § 230.11 (b) U.S. Army Corps of Engineers – Procedures for Implementing NEPA, and they invite your review and feedback.
