Under the Corps' Regulatory Program, a public notice is the primary method for advising all interested parties of a proposed activity for which a permit is sought. Public notices are also published to inform the public about new or proposed regulations, policies, guidance or permit procedures.

We are requesting public comments on many Public Notices (PNs) concurrently; please pay careful attention to the file number and the comments Due Date.

Email comments are preferred.  To submit comments in writing, send them to the attention of the Project Manager listed in the Public Notice title block.  All comments should reference the PN file number and be submitted by the Response Required Date on the PN.


The Public Notices are in pdf format. To read the files you may need to download and install Adobe Acrobat Reader or another comparable program

SPN-2022-00208, Public Notice Announcing the Issuance of Regional General Permit (RGP) 10, Wildfire Mitigation Activities in the State of California

SUBJECT: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Los Angeles, Sacramento, and San Francisco Districts (Districts) have issued Regional General Permit (RGP) 10 authorizing activities that would result in no more than minimal individual and cumulative adverse environmental effects involving the discharge of dredged or fill material into waters of the United States subject the Section 404 of the Clean Water Act, including wetlands, and/or structures or work in or affecting navigable waters of the United States subject to Section 10 of the Rivers and Harbors Act for activities associated with wildfire mitigation, such as wildfire protection, prevention, response, clean-up, and recovery in the State of California.
