Public Notices

Under the Corps' Regulatory Program, a public notice is the primary method for advising all interested parties of a proposed activity for which a permit is sought. Public notices are also published to inform the public about new or proposed regulations, policies, guidance or permit procedures.

We are requesting public comments on many Public Notices (PNs) concurrently; please pay careful attention to the file number and the comments Due Date.

Email comments are preferred.  To submit comments in writing, send them to the attention of the Project Manager listed in the Public Notice title block.  All comments should reference the PN file number and be submitted by the Response Required Date on the PN.

To be added to the Public Notice Mailing List:

Please submit your name, address, and email along with county(ies) you are interested in to our Contact Representative.  The default is email notification, please indicate if you would like to receive a physical notification instead.  Physical requests for inclusion can be sent to the address in our 'Contact Information' box.

If you are on our mailing list and your contact information changes, please notify our Contact Representative and provide your new and old addresses. Hard copies or e-mails returned due to a non-functioning address will be deleted from our electronic mailing list system.

The Public Notices are in pdf format. To read the files you may need to download and install Adobe Acrobat Reader or another comparable program.

Special Public Notice

Published Dec. 16, 2014
Expiration date: 1/31/2015

In 2012, an extensive update of the National Wetland Plant List (NWPL) was finalized. In an effort to continue improving the quality of the wetland ratings on the NWPL, the NWPL national panel is releasing an online questionnaire designed to identify those plant species for which wetland ratings may need revisions, as well as species that should be considered for addition and/or deletion from the list (see attached announcement).

A link to the questionnaire and an example of a completed questionnaire for an individual plant species can be found on the NWPL website at:

If you have any questions or concerns related to the questionnaire or the process for plant ratings, please contact Robert Lichvar 603-646-4657 or email
