Under the Corps' Regulatory Program, a public notice is the primary method for advising all interested parties of a proposed activity for which a permit is sought. Public notices are also published to inform the public about new or proposed regulations, policies, guidance or permit procedures.

We are requesting public comments on many Public Notices (PNs) concurrently; please pay careful attention to the file number and the comments Due Date.

Email comments are preferred.  To submit comments in writing, send them to the attention of the Project Manager listed in the Public Notice title block.  All comments should reference the PN file number and be submitted by the Response Required Date on the PN.


The Public Notices are in pdf format. To read the files you may need to download and install Adobe Acrobat Reader or another comparable program

  • SPN-2022-00093 HRSP Watershed Restoration

    Expiration date: 6/24/2022

    California Department of Parks and Recreation has applied to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), San Francisco District, for a Department of the Army Regional General Permit to discharge fill material into jurisdictional waters of the United States associated with the rehabilitation of the South Fork and Lower Eel River Ecosystem, located near the town of Weott, Humboldt County, California.

  • SPN-2007-400304 RGP 4 for Mosquito Abatement Activities

    Expiration date: 6/25/2022

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, San Francisco District, is proposing to reauthorize, for a period of five years, Department of Army Regional General Permit No. 4 for the maintenance of existing water circulation ditches and channels for the purpose of mosquito abatement in tidal marshes. California Department of Health, Center for Infectious Diseases, Vector-Borne Disease Section is acting as a sponsor for the permit for the County Mosquito and Vector Control Agencies of Alameda, Marin, Sonoma, Napa, and San Mateo Counties.

    Expiration date: 6/9/2022

    Preliminary intent of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Sacramento District, San Francisco District, Los Angeles District, and Albuquerque District (Corps) to accept funds contributed by the Union Pacific Railroad in order to expedite processing of their permit applications and 408 Permission requests.
